About
Morgan Diann \\ Artist and Illustrator from Chattanooga, TN
Known for her high contrast work in printmaking and paintings, Morgan Diann draws inspiration from the posture and posing of the Renaissance. Early on she noticed a lot of the depictions of the female form and the divine feminine were created by men. Morgan’s work is the worship of Women and Non Binary people through Nakedness, Humanity and the Divine from a Woman’s perspective. Morgan’s work and its boldness captures the attention of the viewer and connects with them on a vulnerable level.
Morgan started her art career at the age of 15, only taking a short break when she had a near death experience following the birth of her daughter. Experiencing a violent transition into parenthood changed the narrative of Morgan’s artwork. While parenthood informs her perspective; Morgan’s work is, at its core, about life, death and balance.
